More about corporate eventsOn 28 September 2026 Rod Stewart announced „The Final Encore“ — in his own words, it „will most definitely be my last“ tour. At the same time he made clear: „I'm not retiring. But this will be the last rock 'n' roll tour.“ At 81, and after more than 60 years on stage, Stewart sets off on one last major concert tour of Europe in 2027.
The London-born singer came to prominence in the late 1960s with the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces, while launching his solo career in parallel. More than 250 million records sold, 31 UK Top 10 singles — six of them No. 1 — and 11 UK No. 1 albums make up his record today. He has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice: in 1994 as a solo artist and in 2012 with the Faces. Around 3.5 million people attended his concert on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro.
A Rod Stewart concert is an evening of songs that many in the audience have lived with for decades: „Maggie May“, „Sailing“, „Have I Told You Lately“, „Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?“ and „The First Cut Is the Deepest“ are at the heart of his repertoire. His audience is broad and often long-standing. For many, a good seat and a hotel close to the venue matter more than a spot right at the front of the floor.
In April 2027 the tour takes in Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester before the only London date on 11 May at The O2; Howard Jones supports on the UK dates. Germany gets just four concerts: Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich and — as the last German date — Hanover on 24 July. Other European stops include Amsterdam, Antwerp, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Rättvik, Trondheim, Bergen, Budapest, Pula, Prague and Kraków.
