Rod Stewart live in London — 11 May 2027 at The O2

On Tuesday, 11 May 2027, Rod Stewart plays The O2 in London — the only London date of „The Final Encore“. With this tour the London-born singer takes his leave of large-scale touring, with Howard Jones as support. For many, an evening in Stewart's home city is the obvious choice. The other UK dates on our site are Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester.

The Tuesday date

London deserves more than one night. For a Tuesday concert, arriving on Sunday or Monday leaves time for the city and keeps the day of the show calm. Travelling home on Wednesday avoids a late dash to the airport after the concert. Museums and sights are also usually quieter midweek than at the weekend.

The O2

The O2 stands on the Greenwich Peninsula in south-east London, beneath the white canopy of the former Millennium Dome. Since 2007 it has been one of the busiest concert venues in the world, holding around 20,000 people for concerts. Restaurants under the same roof make it easy to start the evening on site.

There are hotels on the peninsula itself and in nearby Canary Wharf with short journeys to the arena — in a city this size, that saves a lot of time after the show.

Getting to The O2

The nearest Underground station is North Greenwich on the Jubilee line, just steps from the venue; Canary Wharf is one stop away. River boats also run to North Greenwich Pier, and the cable car across the Thames links the peninsula with the Royal Docks. The Jubilee line is very busy after the show — a hotel within walking distance or on the same line saves you changes.

The fan club presale starts on Tuesday, 29 September 2026. General sale for the UK dates opens on Friday, 2 October 2026, at 10:00 BST. With just one evening in London, strong demand is to be expected.
