Rod Stewart live in Hanover — 24 July 2027 at the ZAG Arena

On Saturday, 24 July 2027, Rod Stewart plays the ZAG Arena in Hanover — the last of the four German dates of „The Final Encore“. Stewart has announced the tour as his last big rock 'n' roll tour; if you want to see him live in Germany once more and cannot make Berlin, Düsseldorf or Munich, this is the final opportunity. No support act has been announced for the mainland European dates so far.

The Saturday date

As the only Saturday among the German dates, this evening suits anyone who would rather not take time off during the week. Arrive on Saturday, see the show in the evening and travel home on Sunday — one night is enough. With more time, arrive on Friday and spend Saturday in the Herrenhausen Gardens or the old town. Hotels are in demand at weekends, so booking early pays off.

The ZAG Arena

The ZAG Arena opened for Expo 2000, originally as the Preussag Arena, and stands on the Expo Plaza at the edge of the exhibition grounds in the south-east of Hanover. For concerts it holds around 14,000 people. The arena has good public transport links and a clearly laid-out seating bowl.

There are hotels both in the city centre around the main station and near the exhibition grounds; we choose one with a direct light-rail connection to the arena.

Getting to the ZAG Arena

From the city centre, light-rail line 6 runs to its terminus Messe/Ost (EXPO-Plaza), just a few steps from the arena; from Kröpcke the ride takes around 20 minutes. If you arrive by train, change to the light rail at the main station. By car the arena is easy to reach via the exhibition expressways, with parking on the exhibition grounds.

How to get tickets

The fan club presale starts on Tuesday, 29 September 2026. For the German dates, the PayPal and Telekom presale opens on Wednesday, 30 September, at 10:00 CEST (48 hours), followed by the Ticketmaster presale on Thursday, 1 October, at 10:00 CEST. General sale through Live Nation opens on Friday, 2 October 2026, at 10:00 CEST.
