Last Night of the Proms tickets on request
The Last Night of the Proms closes the eight-week BBC Proms season at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It traditionally falls on the second Saturday in September. The BBC confirms the date and the programme when it launches the new season in spring.
The evening at the Royal Albert Hall
A full orchestral first half is followed by the part the evening is famous for: the whole Hall sings “Rule, Britannia!”, “Land of Hope and Glory” and “Jerusalem”, and the broadcast carries the finale far beyond London.
