Rod Stewart live in Belfast — 27 April 2027 at the SSE Arena

On Tuesday, 27 April 2027, Rod Stewart plays the SSE Arena in Belfast. The concert is part of „The Final Encore“, the tour Stewart has announced as his last big rock 'n' roll tour. Four days after the Dublin show, the tour crosses into Northern Ireland, with Howard Jones announced as support. The UK run continues in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London.

The Tuesday date

A Tuesday concert works well with two nights: arrive on Monday or Tuesday morning and travel home on Wednesday. That leaves the concert day free for the city without a rush in the evening. If you would like a longer trip, Belfast combines easily with Dublin — the Enterprise train links the two cities in just over two hours.

The SSE Arena

The SSE Arena sits in the Titanic Quarter on the River Lagan, within sight of the Titanic Belfast museum. For concerts it holds around 11,000 people; the rest of the time it is home to the Belfast Giants ice hockey team. As arenas go it is fairly compact, so even the upper tiers are not far from the stage.

Belfast is a compact city with plenty of hotels in the centre and in the Titanic Quarter itself, so we can keep the distance between hotel and arena short.

Getting to the SSE Arena

From Titanic Quarter station it is about a ten-minute walk to the arena; from the city centre allow 20 to 25 minutes on foot. Taxis are in high demand after the show, so a hotel in the Titanic Quarter or on the eastern edge of the centre means an easy walk back. George Best Belfast City Airport is only a few kilometres away.

The fan club presale starts on Tuesday, 29 September 2026. General sale for the UK dates opens on Friday, 2 October 2026, at 10:00 BST. If a seated ticket matters to you, it is worth deciding early.
