More about corporate events

Millwall, from Bermondsey in south-east London, have no major honours to show — and visitors still buy tickets for The Den on purpose, because few crowds in England stand behind themselves so loudly.

The Lions have been in the EFL Championship continuously since 2017. We arrange official tickets for home games, on their own or with a hotel in London.

"No one likes us, we don't care"

The club's best-known chant is also its self-description: No one likes us, we don't care, sung to the tune of Rod Stewart's Sailing. It grew out of a reputation the club carried for decades and which its own supporters turned into a badge.

The crowd still comes from the less prosperous districts of south and south-east London. What you get here is not football packaged for visitors but a club that belongs entirely to its own neighbourhood — which is the whole point of coming.

The West Ham derby is back in the league

The fixture against West Ham United is among the fiercest in England. For years it could only happen in the FA Cup or League Cup, because the two clubs were in different divisions. Since West Ham's relegation in 2026 both are in the same league again, so the derby appears twice in the ordinary calendar this season.

If that is the match you want, enquire as early as you possibly can. It is the hardest ticket in the Championship.

The 2004 FA Cup final

What this club is capable of was clear in 2003/04, when Millwall reached the FA Cup final in Cardiff under player-manager Dennis Wise and lost 3–0 to Manchester United. Because United had already qualified for the Champions League, Millwall entered Europe as beaten finalists in 2004/05 — their only European campaign — and went out to Ferencváros of Budapest in the first round.

Defender Matt Lawrence told the BBC at the time how many neighbours stopped him in the street before the final: he had never realised how many people wanted Manchester United beaten. Eamon Dunphy, who missed promotion to the First Division with Millwall by a single point in 1971, called the day a once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

Teddy Sheringham began here between 1983 and 1991, alongside Ireland's Tony Cascarino; Australia's Tim Cahill came through later.

From Cold Blow Lane to today's ground

The old Den on Cold Blow Lane, hemmed in by railway embankments and underpasses, had a formidable reputation — tight, dark and no pleasure for away supporters. The current ground opened in 1993, was officially "The New Den" until 2007 and holds a little over 20,000. It is a plain, well-built rectangle in which all the noise comes from the crowd. The Sky series Dream Team was filmed here.

Getting there: allow the twenty minutes

You need to be willing to walk. The nearest stations, Surrey Quays and New Cross Gate on the East London line, are each about twenty minutes away on foot. The sensible plan is a drink at London Bridge first; special trains run from there for home games with a large away following.

Tickets and travel

Take the ticket on its own or the ticket and hotel package. A weekend that works well: a Premier League game on the Saturday and a second-tier match at Millwall alongside it — two completely different ways of watching football in the same city.

Besides West Ham, the fixtures against Queens Park Rangers, Watford and Leeds United are the ones in demand. London is easy from every direction: Eurostar from the Netherlands and Belgium, direct flights from Scandinavia, rail or a short hop from Britain and Ireland. Tell us the match and your dates and we will come back with a specific proposal.
