Goal-line technology helps Roma

After 76 minutes, the “Giallorossi”, the yellow-red supporters in the Curva Sud, had something to celebrate. 

A dream goal by Matías Soulé, whose shot from over 20 meters bounced off the underside of the crossbar and over the goal line, was instantly confirmed by goal-line technology – 1:1. 

It was only the fourth Serie A goal for the Argentine who joined Roma in the summer of 2024 for €25.6 million from league rival Juventus. 

“He’s one of the players who has found his form again under coach Claudio Ranieri,” said Christian Bernhard about the winger.
