Many events are ideal for team events or corporate outings. We are happy to support you with the planning.
More about corporate eventsThe Weserstadion stands exactly where its name says: on the river, in the Bürgerpark district, a twenty-minute walk from Bremen's market square. No other Bundesliga ground sits this close to a medieval old town — and none has an outer skin that generates power.
For Bundesliga home matches at the Weserstadion we sell official tickets. Among German clubs that is the exception rather than the rule — Werder is one of the few where it applies, and we say so plainly instead of hiding it behind a formula.
All seventeen Bundesliga home fixtures are bookable. Prices run from 119 euros for matches such as Werder against 1. FC Union Berlin on 9 January 2027 to 389 euros when Bayern Munich visit on 24 April 2027.
Take the seat as a Ticket Combo with something to do locally, or as a travel package with a hotel.
During its redevelopment the Weserstadion was clad in photovoltaic panels — not as a detail on the roof but as a continuous skin across roof and walls. It is one of the largest solar installations ever built onto a football stadium, and it produces far more than the ground itself consumes.
You see it immediately from outside: a dark, glossy shell that shifts colour with the light. Approach from the river side in the evening for the better view. The ground holds around 42,000, has no running track, and the stands sit tight to the pitch.
The home end is the Ostkurve, and the phrase above everything is "Lebenslang Grün-Weiß" — green and white for life. Not a marketing line but the self-description of a support that has carried this club through more than one relegation fight.
Werder were founded in 1899 and have won four German championships: 1965, 1988, 1993 and 2004, the last of them alongside the cup. Add the 1992 European Cup Winners' Cup. For a club from a city of just over half a million, that is a considerable record.
Bremen against Hamburg is the Nordderby — two Hanseatic cities that have competed over the same trade routes for centuries, settling it on grass. After years in different divisions both are back in the top flight, which makes this season a particular one in Bremen. The neighbour's page is Hamburger SV.
The two highest-demand dates are Werder Bremen against Borussia Dortmund on 20 February 2027 from 329 euros and against Bayern Munich on 24 April 2027 from 389 euros. Club pages: Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
One fixture is unusual: Werder against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on 12 December 2026 pairs two of the few German clubs for which we can offer official tickets — see Bayer Leverkusen. Cheaper and no less atmospheric are SC Freiburg on 23 January 2027 and FC Augsburg on 19 September 2026, from 119 and 149 euros respectively.
Bremen's market square, with the town hall and the Roland statue, is a UNESCO World Heritage site — the Roland has stood there since 1404 as a symbol of civic freedom. Around the corner are the bronze Town Musicians of Bremen; grasp both of the donkey's forelegs at once and you get a wish.
The Schnoor is the city's oldest quarter, a tangle of fifteenth- and sixteenth-century lanes where the houses are as narrow as a single room. Next to it, the Böttcherstraße is expressionist brick architecture from the 1920s. Both are twenty minutes apart on foot.
Bremen sits on the high-speed line between Hamburg and the Ruhr. The airport is barely ten minutes from the main station by tram — the shortest such connection in Germany — with flights from across northern Europe. Trams 3 and 10 run from the station to the Weserstadion, or you can walk through the Bürgerpark along the river.
The Ticket Combo pairs your seat with something on the day — a stadium tour through the dressing room and players' tunnel, or a trip on the Weser. The travel package adds the hotel.
