Sturm Graz vs Celje

Sturm Graz tickets for the Europa League match with Celje

Sturm host Celje on Thursday 5 November 2026. Barely a hundred kilometres separate the two cities, which in European competition is rare.

A short journey

Celje lies just south of the border in Slovenia, about an hour from Graz by road. The club became Slovenian champions for the first time in 2020 and has been among the country's best since.

Sturm Graz

The Merkur Arena in Graz-Liebenau holds around 16,000. Sturm are the strongest challenger to Red Bull Salzburg and have taken the title themselves several times in recent years; the Styrian support is rated the best atmosphere in Austria.

Graz

Two hours by train from Vienna. The old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Schlossberg with its clock tower, the Kunsthaus on the river and the Mur island.
