Omonia Nicosia vs Besiktas Istanbul

Omonia tickets for the Europa League match with Besiktas

Omonia host Besiktas on Thursday 28 January 2027. Istanbul's people's club on Cyprus - a night the island has marked in the calendar.

Besiktas

One of Istanbul's big three alongside Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, and traditionally the club of the working city. Their ground stands on the Bosphorus beside the Dolmabahçe Palace.

Omonia and the GSP Stadium

One of the two great clubs of the Cypriot capital, champions many times over and a European regular. The GSP Stadium holds around 22,800 and is shared with their city rivals.

Cyprus

Flights to Larnaca from across northern Europe, around four hours, then some 45 minutes to Nicosia. The capital is the last divided city in Europe: Venetian walls, the old town and Ledra Street running to the demarcation line.
