Final Qualifying Round Meets the First Main-Draw Matches
Last updated: 28 July 2026
On 4 April, two competitions collide: the final qualifying matches run alongside the first Round 1 matches of the main draw — 13 matches in total.
Whoever came through the previous day now plays for a spot in the main draw, while the first main-draw entrants open their tournament week at the same time.
For many players, this is their first competitive match of the new clay season — an early gauge of form ahead of the weeks leading up to Roland Garros.
The iconic casino square, home to the Casino de Monte-Carlo and the Café de Paris, is just minutes from the country club — perfect for a break between sessions.
