Eintracht Frankfurt tickets for home games at the Deutsche Bank Park

Eintracht Frankfurt are the club whose supporters turn away matches into home matches — which tells you what their own ground sounds like. We source tickets through our vetted partner network, as a Ticket Combo or together with a hotel in Frankfurt.

The Nordwestkurve and "Im Herzen von Europa"

The Nordwestkurve — the north-west end — is where the home support gathers and where the choreographies and the singing start. Before kick-off the crowd holds its scarves above their heads and sings the club anthem, "Im Herzen von Europa", meaning "in the heart of Europe", first played at the ground in 1997. The phrase has become more than a song title: the club's offices now stand at an address called Im Herzen von Europa 1. Hearing it from 58,000 people explains Frankfurt's reputation as a European venue.

Seville 2022: a European trophy after 42 years

On 18 May 2022 Eintracht won the Europa League at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán in Seville. The final against Rangers finished 1–1 — Rafael Borré equalising in the 69th minute from a Filip Kostić cross — and Frankfurt won the shoot-out 5–4, with goalkeeper Kevin Trapp named man of the match. It was the club's first European trophy in 42 years. Weeks earlier some 30,000 Frankfurt supporters had taken over the Camp Nou and won the quarter-final 3–2. Both nights explain why a European fixture in Frankfurt feels different from a league Saturday.

Ticket Combo or ticket and hotel: what you can book

There are two ways to see a home game. The Ticket Combo pairs your match ticket with a tourist element such as a guided city tour, and books like a ticket without accommodation — which suits visitors arriving on matchday. The ticket and hotel package adds a room in Frankfurt, usually the easier option for evening kick-offs and European nights, when the journey home stops mattering.

Through the city forest to the Waldstadion

Supporters still call the Deutsche Bank Park the Waldstadion, the forest stadium, and the name is literal: the ground, opened in 1925, stands inside Frankfurt's city forest, and the walk to kick-off goes between the trees. It is an unusual approach to a Bundesliga fixture and one reason regulars arrive early. Full travel details are on the stadium page.

Which fixture to aim for

Demand peaks for Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, and for the Europa League and Champions League nights. A Bundesliga home game against a mid-table side is the cheaper way in, and the Nordwestkurve sings just the same. European dates are confirmed only a few weeks ahead, so flexible travel dates are worth more here than booking early.

Getting there from Scandinavia, Britain, Ireland and the Benelux

Frankfurt is the simplest German city to reach for a single fixture. Frankfurt Airport is one of Europe's largest hubs, with direct flights from Scandinavia, Britain and Ireland, and the airport connects to the city centre in a quarter of an hour. Visitors from the Netherlands and Belgium have the alternative of the train, because Frankfurt sits on the main rail routes west. Groups from ten travellers are quoted individually, extra nights, room types and transfers can be added to any package, and we seat parties together as standard.
