PSV tickets: the club Philips founded

PSV began in 1913 as the works team of the Philips electronics company, and the ground still carries the name. In 1988 they won the European Cup, the UEFA Cup had come six years earlier, and the list of players who passed through — Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Romário, Ruud Gullit — is longer than most clubs of this size will ever manage.

The Philips Stadion holds around 35,000 and sits a ten-minute walk from Eindhoven's central station. The stands are close, the roof is low, and the noise has nowhere to escape.
