KAA Gent tickets: the Buffalos of Flanders

Gent won their first Belgian title in 2015 and went on to reach the Champions League knockout stage the following season, which for a club of this size was extraordinary. The nickname — the Buffalos — dates back to a Buffalo Bill show that visited the city in the 1890s and stuck.

The Planet Group Arena opened in 2013, holds around 20,000 and is a compact, covered ground on the southern edge of the city with a tram running to the door.
