Hibernian tickets at Easter Road in Edinburgh

Hibernian tickets at Easter Road

Easter Road sits in Leith, the old port district north east of the centre, and holds around 20,400. The supporters call it the Leith San Siro, which says something about both the ground and the humour. The stands rise steeply on three sides and the pitch famously used to slope; the modern rebuild kept the character and removed the tilt.

Hibs were founded in 1875 by Irish immigrants in Leith, and in 2016 they won the Scottish Cup for the first time in 114 years — a wait that had become part of Scottish football folklore.

What we arrange for your Hibernian match break

• Scottish Premiership home fixtures at Easter Road, including the Edinburgh derby
• Hotels in Leith or in the city centre, both a short walk or bus ride away
• Tickets on their own or the full package with accommodation

Leith and the city

Leith has become the best part of Edinburgh to eat in, with the Shore and the old docks lined with restaurants, and the Royal Yacht Britannia moored at Ocean Terminal. The castle and the Royal Mile are fifteen minutes away by bus, and the tram runs from the airport to the end of Leith Walk.

The derby against Heart of Midlothian dates back to 1875 and is one of the oldest in the game. See our Scottish Premiership overview for more.
