Torreense's own ground in Torres Vedras is too small for European football, so the club plays at the Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa in Leiria, built for the 2004 European Championship and holding around 24,000.

In 1967 Celtic became the first British winners of the European Cup with a side drawn almost entirely from within a few miles of Glasgow. For Torreense, from Torres Vedras north of Lisbon, this league phase is a first.
