Shakhtar and the Donbass Arena

The stadium opened in Donetsk in 2009 is among the finest in Europe, but the club has not played there since 2014. Shakhtar won the UEFA Cup in 2009 and remain a fixture of European competition.

The Philips Stadion

Around 35,000 seats in the middle of the city, named after the company whose works team became the club in 1913. PSV won the European Cup in 1988 and the UEFA Cup in 1978, and the stands sit close to the pitch.
