City host Napoli on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, bringing one of the most passionate supports in European football to Manchester.

Napoli and Maradona

No club is bound to a single player as Napoli are to Diego Maradona. Under him they won their first two league titles, in 1987 and 1990, and the UEFA Cup in 1989. The stadium has carried his name since 2020, and further championships in the 2020s have put the club back among the elite.

The Etihad

Built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games and converted for football, it replaced Maine Road in 2003. The tram stops at Etihad Campus, ten minutes from the centre.
