Miami International Autodrome – Formula 1 Around Hard Rock Stadium

The Miami International Autodrome is the temporary Formula 1 circuit assembled every year on the private grounds and parking lots surrounding Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Since its debut in May 2022, the Miami Grand Prix has become one of the most spectacular events on the Formula 1 calendar – complete with a purpose-built "marina" section stocked with rented superyachts, even though the circuit isn't actually near any real water.

Design and Layout

The circuit runs entirely on private land – primarily Hard Rock Stadium's parking lots – while crossing several public roads along the way. Its most talked-about feature is the artificial "marina" section: since the circuit sits nowhere near real seawater, a purpose-built basin is filled with water for race weekend and stocked with rented superyachts – a detail that has generated headlines worldwide since the track's 2022 debut. Since 2024, additional shorter circuit configurations have been added to the site for year-round motorsport and karting events, and from 2026 a dedicated Formula E layout (2.32 km, 14 turns) joins the venue.
