Galatasaray tickets at the Rams Park in Istanbul

Galatasaray tickets: welcome to Hell

The banner that greeted visiting teams at the old Ali Sami Yen has followed the club to its new home, and it is not entirely a joke. Galatasaray's ground held the Guinness world record for the loudest crowd noise at a stadium, and European sides still describe the trip as the hardest atmosphere they face.

The club is the most successful in Turkey and the only one to have won a European trophy — the UEFA Cup and the European Super Cup, both in 2000. Rams Park, opened in 2011, holds around 52,000 in the Seyrantepe district on the European side.

What we arrange for your Galatasaray match break

• Süper Lig home fixtures at Rams Park, including the derbies against Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş
• Hotels across Istanbul, from Taksim and Nişantaşı to the old town
• Tickets on their own or the full package with accommodation, also for groups

The Intercontinental Derby

Galatasaray against Fenerbahçe is played across the Bosphorus, Europe against Asia, and is routinely listed among the most heated fixtures in world football. Demand for it is enormous and the arrangements for visiting supporters change from season to season — worth asking about early.

One practical point: Turkish league football uses the Passolig supporter card system, and the rules for visiting fans differ from those in western Europe. We set out what applies to your fixture when we send the offer.
