Torino tickets: Il Toro and the memory of Superga

Turin is usually associated with one club, and it is not this one. Yet Torino won seven Italian championships, five of them in a row in the 1940s with a side that supplied almost the entire national team. That team died in the Superga air disaster of 1949, on the hill above the city, and the club has carried it ever since. Every year the supporters climb to the basilica to read out the names.
