Parken holds around 38,000 and is both the home of FC Copenhagen and Denmark's national stadium — which means the ground has hosted European nights, internationals and a European Championship. It stands in Østerbro, a residential district a twenty-minute walk from the harbour at Nyhavn, so you can go from your hotel to the turnstiles on foot.

FCK were formed in 1992 from a merger of two older clubs and have dominated Danish football ever since, with regular Champions League and Europa League campaigns. The support in Sektion 12 behind the goal is the loudest in Scandinavia.
