Tame Impala live in Cologne — 18 June 2027 at LANXESS arena

On Friday 18 June 2027 Tame Impala play the LANXESS arena in Cologne for the second time. The date was added as an extra show after the Thursday sold quickly. No further German dates have been announced. Wet Leg are special guests.

The Friday date

For a concert trip the Friday is the more comfortable of the two Cologne nights: travel during the day, see the show in the evening and keep the weekend for Cologne — the cathedral, old town, riverside and traditional brewhouses are all close together.

The band play "in the round": the stage sits in the middle of the arena, with the audience on every side.

LANXESS arena

The LANXESS arena in Cologne-Deutz holds around 20,000 people for concerts. It sits on the right bank of the Rhine, directly opposite the old town, and is reachable on foot across the Hohenzollern Bridge.

Friday is the most sought-after night in Cologne that weekend, especially as trade fairs often run in June. Book the two separately and you end up working out for yourself which location is still available.

Getting to LANXESS arena

Köln Messe/Deutz station is right beside the arena, and ICE high-speed trains stop there. From the centre, S-Bahn and tram take a few minutes; on foot it is about 15 minutes from Cologne Hauptbahnhof.
