Sporting tickets for the Champions League tie with Barcelona

Barcelona come to the Alvalade on Wednesday 20 January 2027. For Sporting this is the kind of night a whole city turns out for.

Two academies

La Masia and Sporting's academy at Alcochete are among the best-known youth systems in Europe, and both have produced generations who went on to shape the world game. That comparison is part of this fixture.

The ground

Around 50,000, opened in 2003 for Euro 2004, in northern Lisbon at Campo Grande metro station. The green and white stripes and the lion on the badge are among the most distinctive sights in European football.

Lisbon

Belém, with its tower and the Jerónimos Monastery, is a UNESCO World Heritage site; tram 28 climbs through the Alfama; and the miradouros over the rooftops cost nothing. Three nights will not be wasted.

Tickets and hotels

We source our tickets through the clubs' official partners and can add a hotel. See Champions League.

European kick-off times are set only weeks in advance. If the match moves, your ticket remains valid and we rebook your hotel at no cost.
