From 3 to Sunday 5 December 2027, the Lusail International Circuit hosts the Qatar Grand Prix, the penultimate race of the season. Formula 1 has raced in Qatar since 2021, and as in Singapore, the race is held under floodlights. This late in the year, it can still play a key role in the title fight.
The 5.419-kilometre track lies about 20 kilometres north of Doha and was originally built for MotoGP. It consists mainly of medium and high-speed corners that flow into one another and are very demanding on tyres and drivers. The long start-finish straight offers the best overtaking chances.
The main grandstand overlooks the start, finish and pit lane, and more grandstands line the corners in the infield. Because the race takes place in the evening, temperatures are pleasant for spectators. Before you book, we tell you exactly which category, grandstand and days your ticket includes.
Most fans stay in Doha, for example on the Corniche, in West Bay or at The Pearl, and reach the circuit by metro or shuttle. During the day there is time for Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art or the desert. On request, we combine ticket and hotel into a complete travel package.
Friday is for free practice, Saturday for qualifying, and the race takes place on Sunday evening, Sunday 5 December 2027. Formula 1 usually publishes the exact session times a few months before the race.
