On Sunday 6 June 2027 oasis play the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. It is the second of eleven nights in the band's home city and the close of the first concert weekend.

The Sunday date

A Sunday show has a practical advantage for anyone travelling in: arrive Friday or Saturday, spend a full day in Manchester before the concert, head home on the Monday. If you want to see the city rather than only the stadium, this is the night to pick.

Manchester on a June Sunday is worth the time anyway — the Northern Quarter, the music history scattered across the centre, the old industrial buildings along the canals. Richard Ashcroft is special guest, on all 38 dates of the tour.

Nowhere on this tour is that worth more than here. Eleven consecutive nights, each with roughly 50,000 extra overnight guests, means Manchester is effectively booked out for four straight weeks in June 2027. The ticket is the smaller half of that problem.

Getting to the Etihad Stadium

The stadium sits east of the city centre with a tram stop on site. From the centre it is about half an hour on foot. Sensible places to stay are the city centre, the Northern Quarter or the area around Piccadilly.

How to get tickets

Unlike previous tours, there is no general on-sale. Tickets go only to fans who registered in advance on the band's official website, and according to the band no additional presales are planned.
