On Friday 25 June 2027 oasis play the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. It is the tenth of eleven nights in the band's home city, and the start of the closing weekend.

The closing weekend

The last two Manchester nights have a character of their own. After three weeks in the same city, a run ends that has no precedent for this band at this length. Anyone who has been to the close of a residency knows it shows on stage.

The Friday remains the more practical of the two: arrive, see the show, and Saturday and Sunday are still ahead of you. Richard Ashcroft is special guest, on all 38 dates of the tour.

Eleven consecutive nights, each with roughly 50,000 extra overnight guests, means Manchester is effectively booked out for four straight weeks in June 2027, and the closing weekend will be the tightest of the lot. The ticket is the smaller half of that problem.

Getting to the Etihad Stadium

The stadium sits east of the city centre with a tram stop on site. From the centre it is about half an hour on foot. Sensible places to stay are the city centre, the Northern Quarter or the area around Piccadilly.

How to get tickets

Unlike previous tours, there is no general on-sale. Tickets go only to fans who registered in advance on the band's official website, and according to the band no additional presales are planned.
