On Friday 28 May 2027 oasis play Celtic Park in Glasgow. It is the fourth of five nights in the city and the start of the second concert weekend.

Friday night in Glasgow

The Friday is the most practical date for a concert trip: fly during the day, head to the stadium in the evening, and keep Saturday and Sunday entirely free. Glasgow rewards that — short distances, a dense scene of pubs and live music, and the option of a Saturday day trip out to Loch Lomond or over to Edinburgh.

On stage the tour is a week old by this point and well bedded in. Richard Ashcroft is special guest, on all 38 dates.

Glasgow is smaller than Manchester and has correspondingly fewer beds. Five concert nights with roughly 60,000 visitors each hit a city that does not absorb that casually, and weekends take the hardest toll on room rates. Here the room runs short before the ticket does.

Getting to Celtic Park

The stadium is in Parkhead, in the east end of Glasgow. Trains run from the centre, with extra buses on event days; on foot it is around 40 minutes. Sensible places to stay are the city centre around Buchanan Street or the Merchant City.

How to get tickets

Unlike previous tours, there is no general on-sale. Tickets go only to fans who registered in advance on the band's official website, and according to the band no additional presales are planned.
