Oktoberfest opening day tickets: table reservations in the beer tents

Oktoberfest opens on Saturday 18 September 2027. Before the first barrel is tapped, the landlords of the beer tents and the breweries parade onto the Theresienwiese in their festive carriages. At noon the Mayor of Munich taps the first barrel in the Festhalle Schottenhamel, and only then does the beer start flowing in every tent.

Your table on opening day

If you want to experience the first day of the festival with your whole group, send us your request early. Tell us your preferred tent and whether you would like to go at lunchtime or in the evening, and we will request a table for 8 or 10 – in a particular area if you wish: centre aisle, side aisle, box or balcony.
