Day 8: The Women's Round of 16 Begins as the Men Finish Round Three

On 26 April 2027, the women's round of 16 gets underway, while the men play their final round-three matches – a day when both tours are on site simultaneously but in different stages of the tournament.

The Women's Draw Moves Ahead

Because the women's competition traditionally runs a step ahead in the schedule, it reaches the round of 16 before the men. For the 16 remaining women, that means every match now counts double, since ranking points rise with each round survived.

One Last Chance for the Men's Underdogs

At the same time, the last men still in round three are fighting for a place in the knockout phase – a particularly tense day for anyone backing the underdogs who have already upset higher-seeded opponents.
