Slovan Bratislava
Slovakia's most decorated club and the only side from the former Czechoslovakia to have won a European trophy - the Cup Winners' Cup in 1969. Their supporters reach Linz in around two and a half hours.
The Raiffeisen Arena
Opened in 2023, around 19,000 seats, a football-only ground on the Froschberg in the middle of Linz. LASK were founded in 1908, are the oldest club in Upper Austria and were champions in 1965.

Good rail links from Vienna and Salzburg. The Ars Electronica Center, the Lentos museum, the Danube promenade and the Pöstlingberg railway fill the day before kick-off.
