On Friday 23 April 2027 Harry Styles plays the Rose Bowl Stadium outside Los Angeles. It is the first of two nights in California — and the date with the most prominent support on the entire tour: Kylie Minogue.

Two headliners in one evening

Kylie Minogue has been filling arenas in her own right for four decades. Her appearing lower on the bill makes this one of the few dates where being in the stadium well before the main set genuinely pays. Arrive late here and you miss more than elsewhere.

A stadium that rarely stages concerts

The Rose Bowl is an open bowl from 1922, set in a valley in Pasadena, roughly 15 kilometres north-west of downtown Los Angeles, with the San Gabriel Mountains behind it. Capacity is around 88,000.

Concerts are rare here, because Pasadena caps the number of major events per year. The list of artists who have played the Rose Bowl is correspondingly short — this is not just another stadium date.

Getting to the stadium

The Rose Bowl sits in a residential area with no direct rail link. The usual routes are shuttles from the Pasadena metro stations, rideshare, or driving — though parking on a sold-out night is notorious.

For accommodation Pasadena is the calmest choice: a manageable city with its own centre and short distances. If you want to see Los Angeles itself, take Downtown or Santa Monica and accept the longer journey out.
