SK Slavia Prague visit the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, December 8, 2026. Founded in 1892, they are among the oldest clubs in central Europe, and Prague is close enough that the away end should be full.

Slavia and the Prague derby

Prague has been split between Slavia's red and white and Sparta's colours for well over a century, in one of the oldest derbies anywhere in Europe. Slavia play at the Eden Aréna in Vršovice and have made their mark on the continental stage more than once, reaching the Europa League quarter-finals in 2019.

Getting to the stadium

The Allianz Arena stands north of the city at Fröttmaning, some twenty minutes on the U6 from Marienplatz. Trains run constantly on a matchday; leave an hour before kick-off.

Munich beyond the football

The old town, the Viktualienmarkt and the Englischer Garten sit close together, and the FC Bayern Museum inside the ground makes a good pre-match afternoon. Direct flights reach Munich from Scandinavia, the Benelux countries, the UK and Ireland.
