What’s the Story? Dublin Glory! The Gallagher brothers' comeback turns Oasis concert trips 2025 into an absolute sensation. Event-Breaks founder and owner Jörn Lutter reports from the Oasis concert in Dublin, and we reveal where the legendary Britpop band might perform live in Germany in 2026.

Saturday, August 16, 2025 – Oasis in Dublin, and 80,000 fans celebrated the long-awaited reunion of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher at Croke Park Stadium. They had fallen out in 2009 before a show in Paris, leading to the band’s breakup. Millions of Oasis fans were left in shock afterwards.

Even the acclaimed documentary As it was (2019) featuring Liam Gallagher couldn't really explain what had happened – and didn’t hint at a comeback. That was probably for the best, as no one expected one for years.

Oasis Concerts 2025: How it all happened…

The Oasis comeback was initiated by their favorite club Manchester City. The Gallaghers announced they would reunite for a show if the “Sky Blues” won the Champions League. Said and done. Manchester City won the 2023 Champions League against Inter Milan (1:0) – and since July 2025, Oasis is back on tour.

Among the concertgoers in Dublin: Event-Breaks founder and owner Jörn Lutter, who was visibly impressed by the event.

How was the Oasis concert in Dublin?

“You don’t have to be a hardcore Oasis fan to get swept up by this massive atmosphere,” said Jörn Lutter. “It was a fantastic weekend in Dublin, with Oasis fans everywhere – in pubs, on the streets, and their songs playing from every speaker.”

An endearing and memorable story happened before the show. A 15-year-old girl from Howth, near Dublin, held a sign saying, “Looking for 2 Oasis Tickets!! For me and my Dad, he’s from Manchester,” and according to her, had “the best day of her life” when she got a ticket just outside Croke Park – as a gift from event-breaks.com. Sadly, there was no extra ticket for her dad, but event-breaks.com made sure the young fan got safely back to her father after the concert.

Oasis tickets were basically a second currency in Dublin, of course.

Reporter Ellen O‘Donoghue from the portal breakingnews.ie probably had a similar experience. In her Oasis concert review, she wrote: “I never expected to go to Oasis – it was a once-in-a-lifetime stroke of luck. I knew these tickets were as rare as gold dust and had given up hope. But since my cousin couldn’t make it, I got a ticket on concert day – upper tier of the Cusack Stand (one of the three seating stands in Croke Park, editor’s note). Oasis were amazing – the Gallagher brothers didn’t speak much to each other, but no one really expected that anyway.”

Oasis Tour Songs – “Hello” again

The intro at Croke Park featured a tune that’s part of many Irish musicians’ repertoire: “The Auld Triangle,” by Irish poet and hard-drinking rogue Brendan Behan († 1964 / “The Hostage”).

The Oasis setlist left nothing to be desired. They opened in Dublin – fittingly – with “Hello” and had the crowd going wild. Liam Gallagher in his olive-green parka – hard to believe after 16 years if you hadn’t seen it live…

Four of their classics – “The Masterplan,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Wonderwall,” and “Champagne Supernova” – were saved for the encore. Fair enough…

How many concerts does Oasis have?

Oasis has been performing under the motto “Live ‘25” since early July 2025, with the final concert set for November 2 in São Paulo – 41 shows in total, including stops in Cardiff (starting July 4), their hometown Manchester, the iconic Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh, Dublin, and several dates in the USA.

The frenzy around the Oasis comeback is evident in the numbers: For the 17 concerts in the UK, 1.4 million tickets were available – with 14 million ticket requests.

No shows in Germany were (yet) scheduled for 2025.

Oasis Tour Leaks: What dates are there for 2026?

That could change next year – if the circulating Oasis tour leaks are to be believed.

According to information from event-breaks.com, Oasis will play a show in Germany and other European cities in 2026.

Oasis concerts Germany – Where are the Gallaghers going?

According to our sources, as part of the “Europe Dates Phase One,” an Oasis concert is planned on June 12, 2026 at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt. The tour is set to kick off on June 7 in Milan at the legendary San Siro stadium.
Madrid and its Estadio Metropolitano, home of Atlético, will host the band on June 10, 2026, followed by the Stade de France in Paris on June 25/26, and Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam on June 20.

Is there an Oasis concert in Berlin in 2026?

Due to leaked information about the 2026 Oasis tour, there are online rumors about a possible show in Berlin – where the band last played 20 years ago. According to the Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung (August 15, 2025), citing promoter Olympiastadion GmbH, “there are currently no plans” for such a concert.

What was the biggest Oasis gig?

The question of Oasis’s biggest-ever concert is one fans answer with “Some might say.”

Many say it was their appearance at the Knebworth Festival on July 10/11, 1996 in front of 250,000 music fans. They also played “I Am the Walrus” by The Beatles (1967) there.

The show at Manchester City’s former stadium, Maine Road, on April 27, 1996, is also considered one of the band’s iconic live gigs – at the time, What’s the Story) Morning Glory, their second album, had been out for six months and Britpop was at its peak.
