Betis host Feyenoord at La Cartuja on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 - two clubs whose reputation rests less on trophies than on the people who follow them.

Two supporter cultures

"Manque pierda", say the Betis fans - even if we lose. In Rotterdam the whole ground sings "Hand in Hand" before kick-off. Both clubs come from cities in the shadow of a capital, and both turned that into an identity. Feyenoord were the first Dutch winners of the European Cup, in 1970.
