The club from the French coalfield fills a ground larger than its own town: Lens has around 31,000 inhabitants, the Bollaert-Delelis holds about 38,000, and the whole place sings "Les Corons" before kick-off.

Also known as the Eden Aréna, opened in 2008, around 19,400 seats. Slavia were founded in 1892 and are among Europe's oldest clubs; the derby with Sparta dates from 1896.
