Millwall FC

No one likes, we don't care... - For die-hard football fans, Millwall Football Club from the London borough of Bermondsey is a household name. Although there are no major football titles to show for it, many fans travel to London quite deliberately to be present at a Lions match at The Den Stadium. Millwall fans are as legendary as they are feared. Their rallying cry, No one likes, we don't care, has become a byword.
The movie "Green Street Hooligans" with Lord of the Rings actor Elijah Wood, which revolves around the Millwall Football Club fan scene, also contributed to the club's fame among fans.

Greater London has a total of five international airports (Heathrow, City, Stansted, Luton and Gatwick).

Heathrow
Heathrow Airport is located in the west of the city and is the largest London airport. It is served by the major airlines (British Airways, Lufthansa, Swiss etc.). There is a very good connection to the city centre by London Underground (approx. 50 min.) as well as an express connection by Heathrow Express (approx. 20 min.).

City Airport
City Airport is the most central but also the smallest airport in London. It is located in the eastern part of London and is directly connected to public transport. This airport is only served by British Airways, Swiss, KLM and Eurowings.

Stansted
Stansted Airport is mainly served by low-cost airlines such as Ryanair and Easyjet. It is located in the north of the city. From the airport, it is best to take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. From there you can easily reach everything by public transport.
A little cheaper but also more time-consuming is the transfer from the airport to the city centre by bus. The company National Express offers various routes with different destinations in the city area. The journey takes about 1 hour 20 minutes.

Gatwick
This airport is located in the south of the city and is mainly served by Easyjet and British Airways. The best way to get to the city centre is by train (Gatwick Express, Southern Trains, Thameslink & Great Northern) which takes about 25 minutes.

Luton
In the north-west of the city lies the somewhat smaller Luton Airport. This airport is mainly served by Easyjet and Ryanair. Here, too, it is advisable to take the train to the city centre. The journey takes about 40-50 minutes.
