Brentford FC Tickets + Travel

FC Brentford made it to the Premier League for the first time in 2021 – in the tight Gtech Community Stadium, the second smallest stadium of the 2024/2025 Premier League season, FC Brentford tickets, for instance against Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC or Manchester City, sell out quickly. 

FC Brentford gained worldwide attention on February 26, 2022. Danish international Christian Eriksen, who had suffered a cardiac arrest during Euro 2020 in Copenhagen in the first match against Finland (0-1), made his return to professional football for the first time. Following his recovery, regulations in the Italian Serie A prevented him from playing for his previous club Inter Milan, prompting his move to Brentford. 

Christian Eriksen made only eleven appearances for "The Bees" before moving to Manchester United in 2022.

The long-awaited Premier League promotion for the club from the western part of the London metropolitan area was achieved by other players, including English international striker Ivan Toney, who scored 31 goals in the preceding Championship season, and the German U21 European champion Vitaly Janelt. 

Sir Rod Stewart on trial at Brentford

The most famous, and certainly the most heavy-drinking, "Bees" player: Paul "Merse" Merson. The enfant terrible of English football spent a loan spell at Brentford in 1987. Les Ferdinand also played for "The Bees" in 1986/87, a club that was lost in the Fourth Division between 1973 and 1978 and in Football League Two (4th tier) from 2007 to 2009. 

The most expensive player the "Bees" have ever signed (as of August 1, 2024) is the Brazilian-Bulgarian centre-forward Igor Thiago, who was brought in from Belgian champions Club Brugge in 2024 for 33 million euros. For German international Kevin Schade, Brentford paid SC Freiburg 25 million euros.

And then there is the Sir. A man named Rod Stewart, back then still without the "Sir". As a 15-year-old, the rock musician underwent a trial at Brentford FC in 1960. At 16, the boy from the working-class London district of Highgate also signed a pre-contract. Nevertheless, it wasn't enough for a professional career. 
Considering that "Hot Rod" recorded the global hit "Maggie May" in the same year, 1971, turned out to be the better idea after all.
