The Circuit: Circuito de Madrid (Madring)

The Madring sits in the Valdebebas district on the grounds of the IFEMA exhibition centre, just minutes from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. The 5.416 km track with 22 turns combines public roads with purpose-built sections. From 2026 it takes over from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya – Formula 1's first race in Madrid since 1981.

La Monumental: the spectacular banked corner

The track's centrepiece is the banked corner "La Monumental", with roughly 24 degrees of banking across about 500 metres. Drivers are expected to reach up to 340 km/h at turn 4 before braking hard to 100 km/h into the opening chicane. In a first for the sport, the Madring also features the first fully covered paddock in Formula 1 history.
