Football Trips Premier League: Fixtures set until the End of December

The organizers of the English Premier League released the exact fixture schedule up to December 22 on October 14, 2025. Event-breaks.com covers the Premier League highlights leading up to the football holiday, “Boxing Day”. 

The first matchday in December is a midweek round. On December 2 (8:30 p.m.), Manchester City will kick off matchday 18 away at Fulham FC. 

Runners-up Arsenal FC will host Brentford FC in a London derby on December 3 at 8:30 p.m. (all times CET), before Liverpool FC faces newly promoted AFC Sunderland at 9:15 p.m.

Premier League Fixture: When do Leeds United play Liverpool? 

Matchday 19 features the comeback of a real league classic: Leeds United, managed by German coach Daniel Farke, against champions Liverpool FC on December 6 (6:30 p.m.).

While Liverpool are specialists in scoring late winners – as recently seen in their 1–0 win at Burnley – “The Peacocks” have repeatedly thrown away deserved points late in games during their Premier League return. “We have a problem with late goals,” Leeds United stated on their website in October. The team has conceded three goals in the final 15 minutes so far. 

On December 7 (5:30 p.m.), fans in West London can look forward to a real derby: Fulham FC vs. Crystal Palace.

When is the FA Cup Final rematch – Crystal Palace vs. Manchester City – in the league?

The rematch of the 2025 FA Cup Final – a 1–0 win for “The Eagles” at Wembley – will take place in the Premier League on December 14, 2025 (3 p.m.): Crystal Palace vs. Manchester City. 

Two more London clubs will have home games that Sunday: Brentford FC vs. Leeds United and West Ham United vs. Aston Villa. Exciting matchups.

Liverpool: Another historic match at the “Spurs”?

Liverpool FC will return to London on December 20 – this time to face Tottenham Hotspur, where they produced an epic 6:3 win almost exactly a year earlier. Mohamed Salah and now-Bayern Munich player Luis Diáz each scored twice for “The Reds” at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 22, 2024.

Two clubs still looking for form this season, Aston Villa and Manchester United, will meet on December 21 (5:30 p.m.) at Trinity Road.

The final Monday Night Game before the festive fixtures will take place on December 22 (9 p.m.) between Fulham FC and Nottingham Forest.
