Liverpool: Tribute to Peter Cormack 

During these moments of remembrance, you can hear a pin drop in English stadiums. Anfield remembered legendary midfielder Peter Cormack (†78) from the Bill Shankly era before the match against Chelsea. 

The Scotsman made 121 league appearances for Liverpool Football Club between 1972 and 1976. Major achievements: Two English league titles, two UEFA Cup trophies (both in 1973 and 1976), and FA Cup winner in 1974.

Unlike him, the game-changer at Liverpool FC since the 2017/2018 season has been Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian, for whom they paid €42 million to AS Roma, gave the hosts the lead with a penalty goal in the 29th minute.
